Deputy US Marshal hit by car during foot chase with homicide suspect

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. - A deputy U.S. Deputy Marshal was hit by a car during a foot chase at Coronado Center in Albuquerque Thursday.

Authorities said the deputy was chasing a homicide suspect before being hit by a car.

The deputy was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

The homicide suspect was taken into custody.

The Albuquerque Police Department is investigating the crash.
