ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. - They're not quite old enough to be Bonnie and Clyde, but APD says they caused some serious havoc in a West Side neighborhood.

Almost a dozen car windows were found smashed Sunday afternoon near Unser and Ladera.

"I came outside just to get something out of the car and I noticed the front window had been hit with a rock, the rock is sitting in the street," said Donnie Mosely, a smash and dash victim. "I walked around the vehicle and saw that the back window had been bashed in as well."

Mosley said he's out $400, the price to fix the windows.

"Honestly, I really think it's disgusting," he said. "Obviously put us out on a vehicle we have to fix. Who knows how many other people it happened to who may not have the money to go around and repair their vehicle just because someone thought it was funny to do."

Less than a 100 yards away from where the first car was hit, another truck had a rock go through the back windshield.

"I mean it was quite devastating but there is nothing more we can do," said Alisa Sanchez, another smash and dash victim. "We reported it to the cops and we are going through insurance."

Albuquerque Police say neighborhood surveillance caught the car involved on camera. Police were able to find the 18-year-old driver.

APD says they weren't able to arrest the driver because they didn't witness the act. However, she has been summoned to court. Police say they are trying to locate her boyfriend, who they believe was in the passenger seat.

"From the sounds of it, it's some teenage kids not having anything to do on a Sunday," Sanchez told KOB. "There are plenty of things to do, yesterday was the last day of the fair, there's a park just up the street, go hang out, play basketball."

Police say some victims have decided to press charges
