ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. - A woman accused of abandoning dogs inside an SUV, where they died, will be freed from jail unit her trial.

Friday morning, a judge ordered Sarah Mauter's release from the Bernalillo County Metro Detention Center.

According to authorities, Mauter was hired in April to transport five dogs to the owner's new home in Texas. Mauter allegedly never completed the trip. The dogs were found dead, in an SUV, in Albuquerque.

Mauter was eventually arrested in Phoenix.
