Viranna Nastacio made her first appearance in court Saturday after allegedly intentionally running over a man in a parking lot near Montgomery and San Pedro on Friday.

That victim is still in critical condition a day later.

Prosecutors filed a motion for pretrial detention, so Nastacio will stay in jail at least until that motion is heard.
