ALBUQUERQUE, N.M.- For the second game in a row, the UNM women’s basketball team played without Nag Howell and Bridie Kennedy-Apuate.

The pair weren’t on the bench as the team blew out Northern New Mexico.

Jayden De La Cerda stepped up Tuesday night, scoring 17 points.

Freshman Autumn Watts added 17 points of her own.

Coach Mike Bradbury was happy with how the team stepped up.

“It was good,” he said. “We got to work on some things, and that was another thing we wanted to be able to do.”
