ALBUQUERQUE, N.M.- The Lobos are getting ready for the upcoming football season despite the governor's request the university to not proceed with contact sports during the fall.

The Mountain west has not gone to an all-conference schedule.

The Lobos are currently planning on a 10-game schedule after games with PAC-12 and SEC teams were canceled.

Head Coach Danny Gonzales he is prepared for whatever comes his way.

"We have a weekly meeting with the Mountain West college coaches, where we have discussions about the oversight committee for the NCAA that has been talked about, and if our guys aren't prepared to play a game, we won't play and you can't get prepared to play a game without having some live scrimmage reps," Gonzales said.
