David Najem returns to New Mexico United

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. – David Najem returned to NM United after spending most of 2021 with the Afghanistan national team.
Najem first joined NM United in 2020, where he helped the team reach the Western Conference Semifinals.
"It’s been a surreal feeling getting back in here, but it’s so nice to see all the guys again and meeting the new guys as well. It’s nice to see the club is still moving forward," said Najem.
