ALBUQUERQUE, N.M.- Bob Davie will coach the Lobo football team for the final time on Saturday.

It will be his last game of his eight-year run at UNM.

It will also be the last game for a big senior class.

More than 20 Lobos will also play in their final game with the program.

Davie said he wants to send his player out the right way.

“It's important to know that we have seniors going out on the football field, we have a football team going on a football field again this week, we have a coaching staff that's going out on this football field again this week-- with a game left to play and under some very difficult circumstances,” Davie said.

The Lobos take on Utah State at 2 p.m. at Dreamstyle Stadium.
