Following controversies, UNM to make changes when recruiting transfers

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M.- Transfer athletes J.J. Caldwell and Carlton Bragg faced legal problems during the 2019-202 basketball season. 

Both players were essentially kicked of the team in the middle of the season.

Eddie Nunez, UNM Athletics Director, he will be part of the process of bringing in transfers. 

"Anybody who's gonna be coming in, if they're a transfer or not, we're going to do our part that when they come here, they're gonna be good representatives of our department and of our institution," Nunez said.
