Pacheco started at first base Tuesday against the Isotopes.

It’s been a whirlwind season for the former Rockie, Diamondback and Red.

He started the year playing in Mexico before he got a call from the Mariners and then signed a free agent deal with Seattle.

Just a few days later, he was back in his hometown, playing in front of family and friends.

“It was awesome,” Pacheco said. “I hadn't played in this park in a long time and it's a beautiful park.”
