ALBUQUERQUE, N.M.- Rockies pitcher Kyle Freeland was solid in a rehab start with the Isotopes Thursday night.

He helped the ‘Topes get their second win in a row.

Freeland went six innings, giving up one run and two hits. He also had four strikeouts.

"First pitch to the last one, body felt good, leg stayed under me and most importantly my shoulder felt good," he said. :Through the stuff I’ve been doing, nothing has really changed except I’ve been feeling great and really confident in my shoulder, so glad to get these two rehab starts with Albuquerque out of the way, and start moving on."

Freeland is expected to be back with the Rockies next week to face the Mets.
