The defensive highlight was a pick-six from James Lewis.

Marcus Williams and Lo Johnson scored for the offense.

Head coach Danny Gonzales said the scrimmage was a good way to evaluate the players.

“We're still making a lot of mistakes,” he said. “That's kind of expected with everything being new. We need to clean that up. Hopefully, we can clean it up faster than we are right now.”

Full Spring Practice Schedule:

March 12, 13, 24, 25, 27, 28 (Saturday), 31, April 2.

The Spring Game will be at Dreamstyle Stadium on April 4.

Along with the Spring Game, UNM's first official spring game since the 2011 season, the Lobos will also have a special practice on Saturday, March 28 in Santa Fe at a site to be determined.
