Goose Gossage plays catch with kids at Isotopes Park

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — Hall of Famer Goose Gossage was in Albuquerque Wednesday. The former Yankee great is traveling down Route 66 with Grassroots Baseball to celebrate the amateur game.

The organization gave away gloves and balls to the Boys and Girls Club of Central New Mexico. 

After that, Gossage took time to play catch with the kids. 

"It's great because the kids are what it's all about and always have been," Gossage said. "Still very happy that I get to do the things that I get to do that involve baseball fans."
