ALBUQUERQUE, N.M.- Vance Jackson has come on strong for the Lobos in his last three games.

Over that course of time, Jackson is averaging 22 points per game.

With JaQuan Lyle moving to the point guard position, the added points are a welcome sight for the Lobos.

“The good thing for Makuach, Vance and Zane, they're getting wide-open shots right now,” coach Paul Weir said. “People have looked at the percentages and they're giving them great looks at the basket, so hopefully as these guys make shots and the defense starts to guard them differently. That'll open back up for the guys that got us here.”

The Lobos will play their next game against Air Force in The Pit on Saturday.
