ALBUQUERQUE, N.M.- Aggie fans were sitting on pins and needles this week, wondering if their basketball coach was taking off for more money at East Tennessee State, but at the last minute, he pulled his name out of the hat.

The thought of leaving this program right now, with the streaks we do have going, the current winning streak, WAC winning streak... we have some unfinished business,"  Chirs Jans said. "This program deserves a run in the NCAA tournament. It's been a long time coming."

Jans says he is not close to fishing up his schedule, but if it's like last years slate-- with three Power 5 conference schools, it will be solid.
