Head coach Mike Bradbury said the mutual decision was "the best course for both sides."

The St. Louis-native was named Mountain West Freshman of the Year in 2019.

Everett was currently averaging 13.5 points a game.

Coach Bradbury released the following statement about Everett's transfer:

"Jayla Everett has entered the transfer portal and will no longer be a part of the team moving forward. After having a talk with Jayla, we have decided that this is the best course for both sides. I continue to fully support Jayla as I always have and wish her well in the future."
