Lobo Basketball: JaQuan Lyle sets the tone of winning

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. - UNM's JaQuan Lyle set the winning tone for the Lobo basketball game against the Cal State Matadors Saturday. 

It has been two years since the UNM transfer has played for an audience at The Pit—but that did not hold him back.

Lyle finished the night with a team high of 18 points. He also tied for a team high of 5 assists.

The Lobos toppled Cal State 97-70 and now stand at 2-0.

"Just happy to have the game back in my life so you know what I'm saying, that's just the biggest thing. I just wanna get better weight room taking care of my body on the basketball court. I'm doing something every single day to get better and I continue to do that," Lyle said.

UNM will play the University of Wisconsin Wednesday night.
