As a sophomore, Williams was the top tight end for the Lobos in receptions, receiving yards and touchdowns.

Williams now has 22 games under his belt.

Williams said he is optimistic about the new offensive players for the Lobos.

"I feel like a lot of progress is being made,” Williams said. “We got some new guys coming in that are going to help us out right away so just getting those guys up to speed on the offense and things like that is going to be crucial and beneficial for us as an offense.”
