Lobo Insider: UNM vs. San Jose State

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. - The Lobos faced the San Jose State Spartans for the second time this season Tuesday.

JaQuan Lyle and Vance Jackson were both absent from the game while they recovered from knee injuries, but that didn't stop the Lobos from jumping into the game early.

Makuach Maluach went for the drive and scored. He finished the night with 15 points.

Zane Martin went to Vante Hendrix for the drive—that opened the Lobos to an 8-1 run.

By the half, the Lobos were up by 12. They won big, 86-59.

The team is now 16-5 overall and 5-3 in conference play.

They'll be on the road to play Nevada on Saturday.
