ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. - The Lobo men's basketball team played McNeese State Saturday.
Sha'Markus Kennedy was unstoppable in the first half and got the Cowboys to a 10 point lead.
But the Lobos chipped away to catch up.
Lobo Corey Manigault had a team high of 24 points.
Beyond the arc, Vance Jackson scored 12 of his 18 points in the first half.
The Lobos beat the Cowboys 90-80.
"That's what hopefully good teams do--win close ones. Win ones that maybe shouldn't have been that close, but again you have to credit McNeese. I thought they played terrific tonight," said head coach Paul Weir.
The Lobos will have their first road game of the season against UTEP Tuesday night.
