ALBUQUERQUE, N.M.— The Lobo men’s basketball team has only two road games during the preconference season. The Lobos will travel to El Paso to play the UTEP Miners Nov. 9 and the NMSU Aggies Nov.  21.

Lobo Men’s Head Coach Paul Weir said he took a play page out of Lobo Women’s Head Coach Mike Bradbury’s playbook and made that a two-game road trip. He said he feels it will help get the Lobos ready for the conference season.

“I'm kind of stealing it from Mike as far as having both those games on the schedule and just knocking it out in one trip,” Coach Weir said. “It's a great opportunity to go and play two really good opponents on the road in a rivalry environment regionally and we're excited about it. I think it'll be a really cool opportunity my two good teams back to back on road.”
