ALBUQUERQUE, N.M.- The UNM women's basketball team picked up a much-needed win on Saturday, beating Nevada.

The Lobos, 12-10, will take on San Diego State on Wednesday.

Coach Mike Bradbury hopes the win over Nevada is a stepping stone to get out of a play-in game in the Mountain West Conference Tournament.

"We kept the ball in front of us, we weren't always in rotation, so we could block out a little better," Bradbury said. "I think that was the first thing, and I think we concentrated on it and did a better job."
