There are two exhibition matches coming up in Albuquerque. The first game will be this Saturday against the Colorado School of Mines.

They have 18 returning players on the roster, including both goalkeepers and the top two scorers.

The Lobos are aiming to break through and make the NCAA tournament.

"Pretty exciting and practices have been going really well, so it's encouraging," said midfielder Jessie Hix.

"There's a group of young women that are pretty impressive," said head coach Heather Dyche. "Off the field they are great in the classroom and I think they are ready to go – it's time to play somebody else."
