Lobo Insider: Lobos beat Wyoming, 79-65

LARAMIE, Wyo.—The Lobos men’s basketball teamed played the Cowboys Saturday.

On the break, UNM’s Makuach Maluach had a hoop and the harm, taking the lead.


JJ Caldwell had an alley-oop to Corey Manigault who scored for two points. That put the Lobos up by 15 points.

Manigault would later have the team high of 18 points.

JaQuan Lyle had an assist to Carlton Bragg for the jam. Bragg had a high of 15 points for the day.

Bragg passed to Tavian Percy on the break. Percy scored with a two-hander.

The Lobos defeated Wyoming 79-65, putting them at 9-2 overall and 2-0 in conference play.

Next up, the Lobos will take on New Mexico State on Sat, Nov. 14.
