ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. -The Lobo men's basketball team played the Montana Grizzlies at The Pit Sunday.
There was a five minute stretch in the first half where both teams didn't score.
UNM's Zane Martin broke that dry spell with a jump shot. Carlton Bragg scored his first three point shot of the season.
Tavian Percy kept the run going by scoring a three ball from the corner pocket.
Bragg had a team high of 20 points and 14 boards followed by JaQuan Lyle who had 16 points.
The Lobos held off the Grizzlies 72-63.
The team has an overall record of 7-2 as they head into conference play against Boise State.
"To not be where we really want to be physically and grind out a nine point win against a pretty good basketball team is encouraging," said head coach Paul Weir. "We've kind of used this before. That's a game we probably drop in the past"
"Go with coaches, everybody just staying positive. Just keeping composed and staying composed, not having our heads down and just being consistent and bringing energy to the team," said Carlton Bragg.
The Lobos will take on Boise at The Pit Wednesday, Dec. 4.
