ALBUQUERQUE, N.M.- The UNM men's basketball team will make up a game against Colorado State on March 3. The series was called off due to COVID-19.

However, the two games against San Diego State have been ruled a forfeit.

The Lobos were on a five game losing streak until Monday night. They beat Air Force, 73-65.

Makuach Maluach had a team high 22 points

Valdir Manuel and Bayron Matos combined for 27 points.

Coach Paul Weir said he challenged both players to elevate their game.

"Bayron and Valdir here have to put the pressure on me and put the pressure on the opposing team that they need to be on the floor, they have to be on the floor and I thought they really responded to that tonight, and I think I guys did too," Weir said after Monday's game.

The Lobos will play Air Force again Wednesday night.
