ALBUQUERQUE, N.M.- The UNM men’s basketball team beat San Jose State Tuesday without leading scorer JaQuan Lyle.

Zane Martin ran the show for the Lobos, and scored 20 points.

Corey Manigault was the best big man on the floor, and dominated inside.

Coach Paul Weir was happy to get back into the win column.

“We battled back after some kind of tough losses over the course of the season, and clearly we were in a little bit of a nebulous spot right now,” Weir said. “I thought the guys, themselves, did a great job.”

The Lobos will take on Nevada, which is coach by former UNM basketball coach Steve Alford, on Saturday.
