Nevada Wolf Pack takes down the Lobos, 27-20

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — The Lobos and the Nevada Wolf Pack went head-to-head in Las Vegas Saturday.

UNM raced out to a 10-0 lead in the beginning, but Nevada cut down the gap by halftime, 10-13.


The Wolf Pack scored 17 straight points and hit the Lobos with a big play in the fourth quarter when Romeo Doubs went for a 38-yard touchdown. Nevada hung on to beat the Lobos 27-20.

During the game, Nevada threw for 340 yards, but they hardly ran the ball. The Lobos balanced for 211 passing yards and 141 running yards. 

The Lobos will take on Air Force Friday night.
