Former Lobo Chris Wehan scored the go-ahead goal in overtime.

United will take on El Paso Locomotive FC for the playoff semifinals.

"I think more importantly it just showed what happens when you say yes and you just move forward," said United team owner, Peter Trevisani. "We've been playing every game on the road this year and despite that we came back with a big playoff win and now we're in the final eight."

The semifinal match is tentatively scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 24.
