ALBUQUERQUE, N.M.- The UNM women's basketball team will resume practice on Wednesday.

The team has a new roster that is filled with guards.

"I'm excited," said Coach Mike Bradbury. "I like the way this team can shoot the ball. It's just I don't know, it's just hard right now. I just don't know what we're actually gonna be able to do because we can't do anything."

The conference schedule was released last week. Coach Bradbury said he is not happy that the team will play three of their first four conference games on the road.

"They said they did some of these things to, they said to cut costs," Bradbury said. "Yet and all that and the calculations but we did the figures in the calculations last week and this will be by far the most expensive conference schedule for us to travel and play, so from that point it's hard for me to understand it at all."

Brardbury said the team will play on Nov. 25. Right now, they have 8 non-conference games along with 18-conference games.
