NM United falls to Portland

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. - The Portland Timbers held off New Mexico United Sunday night.


Portland got off to a quick 1-0 lead after scoring in the third minute.

They added a second goal in the 58th minute.

United would cut the lead in half with a goal by Santi Moar in the 72nd minute. 

However, Portland would add another goal minutes later. 

United scored one more goal before the final whistle blew. 

Final Score: Portland Timbers 3,New Mexico United 2
