United will meet the Portland Timbers 2 Sunday night in the Rose City.

United led twice in the match against Austin, only to give up the lead.

As a team, United said they need to be good defensively against the Timbers.

"We're also just trying to still fine-tune define our defensive shape in relationship to Portland who is dangerous – they score goals on crosses, the score goals in transition," said head coach Troy Lesesne. "So we've got to be good there on the road."

"As the season goes on, you start to get more and more comfortable, more and more confident," said midfielder Chris Wehan. "I really feel that way. Some people say you're hitting your stride, but I tend to agree with that. I feel like I've been hitting my stride a little bit."
