NM United looks to rebound after blowout loss in US Open Cup quarterfinals

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. - New Mexico United was humbled Wednesday night by the Minnesota United FC.

Minnesota knocked New Mexico out of the U.S. Open Cup with a 6-1 victory.

“They're a good team there's, no doubt about it,” said United coach Troy Lesesne. “They punished us on the counter.”

New Mexico will take on Fresno in their next game.

The game is scheduled for Saturday night at Isotopes Park.
