Former Lobo Chris Wehan and Devon Sandoval accounted for the team’s goals in a 2-0 win over Las Vegas Saturday.

United’s win, plus a draw from San Antonio, helped secure the tenth and final berth in the Western Conference.

United shared their big moment with a packed house at Isotopes Park.

"I feel really good about it. We're battle tested on the road,” said United head coach Troy Lesesne. “We played five open cup matches on the road this year. We have one of the best away records in the league so I think we have a great chance."

United will play Sacramento Republic Football Club in first round play Wednesday.

"They are a tough team,” said United’s Devon Sandoval. “They got guys that are dangerous, they have experience, they're strong it's gonna be a physical game but I like our matchup against them."

Kickoff is at 8:30 p.m.

The winner will move on to face Reno in the Western Conference quarterfinals.
