LAS CRUCES, N.M.- The NMSU men’s basketball team will take their unbeaten conference record on the road.

The Aggies will take on Rio Grande Valley of Texas.

It’s the first meeting of the season for the Aggies and Vaqueros.

The Aggies will be playing without leading scorer Trevelin Queen. He’s out for up to six weeks with a knee injury.

It's latest of many setbacks NMSU has faced this season.

“Saturday was a tough game, you know,” Coach Chris Jans said. “We struggled early with our rhythm on offense but they stuck with it and stayed together.”
