Pitino gives insight into recruiting strategy

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M.- Richard Pitino will be recruiting against several new head coaches in the Mountain West Conference.

Tim Miles is the new head coach at San Jose State.

He is one of four new head coaches in the conference.

Pitino gave insight into how he will recruit.

"It’s very important that we are recruiting southern California, Arizona, Colorado, Nevada, Texas," he said. "That’s kind of the region that we really want to hone in on to go along with the transfer portal, which is really rocked college sports," Pitino said.
