Bryson Carroll was hurt in Saturday's game at Boise State and sat out of Monday's practice.

With others banged up or out of the season, three running backs were suited up: Bobby Cole, Kentrail Moran and Micah Gray.

The Clovis grad scored his first career touchdown on Saturday.

Going forward, Gray said the team will be ready for whomever gets the call.

“We're just going to prepare,” Gray said. “Like coach always says, ‘whether you were a two or three or whatever you are, you got to prepare like a one.’”

The Lobos will take on Air Force on Saturday.
