ALBUQUERQUE, N.M.- The possibility of a playoff spot for New Mexico United is now out of their control.

To make the playoffs, United needs a win Saturday and a loss or a draw from San Antonio, or a loss from Los Angeles.

The finale of the regular season will take place at Isotopes Park Saturday at 7:30 p.m.

With the top attendance average in the USL, United is ready to show out.

"It's really exciting to be at home. You don't have to travel and you get to sleep in your own bed and those are all always really big advantages especially at the end of the season," said United's Chris Wehan.

United head coach Troy Lesesne said he is hoping to give the fans what they want.

"We wouldn't have it any other way to be able to play in front of our fans so we're so excited to hopefully give them what they deserve, which is three points and pushing towards a playoff position," Lesesne said.
