ALBUQUERQUE, N.M.- The NMSU men's basketball program has been paused for more than a week due to a positive COVID-19 test.

The Aggies last played Dec. 28 when they lost to Cal State Northridge.

The Aggies hope they can resume team activities in time to get ready to take on UTRGV on Jan. 22.

Until then, Coach Chris Jans and his team are working on staying positive.

"It's very emotional. I worry about I worry about their mental health and not just the players, everyone, and I mean everyone in our tier one group," Jans said.
