ALBUQUERQUE, N.M.- Playing soccer has given David Estrada a wide variety of experience, from UCLA to the MLS and the USL.

"I feel very fortunate to say I've been playing soccer for 11 years now," Estrada said.

When Estrada joined United in 2018, he immediately started making a difference in the community, volunteering at the Herman Sanchez Community Center in the South Valley.

"For me, it's just been a mission of mine to go to communities like where I grew up and give back," Estrada said.

Estrada was recently named United's Humanitarian of the Year.

Estrada is helping United in the midst of their longest postseason run in club history, but it's his devotion to the community that will impact others for years to come.
