ALBUQUERQUE, N.M.- UNM punter Tyson Dyer is exploring the next level.
He plans to declare for the NFL draft and work out for teams in the next month.
"I felt like it was just the right time. I'm going to graduate in May with my MBA, with a concentration in finance," he said. "I'm 28 years old, and I think that I've shown enough on film that I can pump the ball at a high-level."
In three seasons with the Lobos, Dyer was one of the nation's leading punters
He was a 2019 semi finalist for the Ray Guy Award.
Dyer was the first Australian-born punter in program history.
