ALBUQUERQUE, N.M.- Summer practice is off and running for UNM women’s basketball.

Jaedyn De Le Cerda, A.T. Anderson and the Duff sisters are returning this season.

"We’re definitely going to pick up where we left off," Anderson said. "Obviously, we lost one starter, so we’re basically going to be the same team with some pieces that are just gonna fill in."

There are also several newcomers on the floor, including Viane Cumber, a graduate of Sandia.

"With the team getting to know each other and just really building that chemistry, it’s awesome to be playing for my hometown, so I’m excited to be here," she said.
