The Lobos and UNLV were tied in the first half till the 23rd minute when Rio Rancho grad Leilani Baker gave the Lobos the lead again. This was Baker’s fourth goal of the season.

Five minutes later, Eldorado grad Jessie Hix scored her own goal making her a top five all-time scorer in program history.

The Lobos beat the Rebels 3-2 and improved to 3-1 in the Mountain West.

They will be on the road to play Utah State Friday night.

“It means a lot. We lost one, won one last weekend so this weekend we came in wanting to win both so it's really big for us,” said Jessie Hix.

Leilani Baker said she hopes to continue winning road games.

"It's good to have three wins under our belt and it's also we're hoping to get two more wins out of this upcoming weekend because it's really good for us to win on the road,” Baker said.
