SANTA FE, N.M. -- It's hard to go anywhere without seeing someone on their phone or hearing the constant sound of notifications. Sometimes it's even difficult to have a conversation.

A new invention is bringing a new experience to one-on-one time.

"I think that people are really ready to just have some really interactive, engaged fun," said Nick Toll, inventor of the Experience Tube.

This simple escape is Toll's creation. The Meow Wolf employee and Santa Fe resident said that quality time people crave with others has been overshadowed by busy day-to-day routines. The Experience Tube changes that.

Watch the video above to see how it works.

Toll's creation hit the shelves at Meow Wolf in September. Since then, the demand has been overwhelming. In fact, there's a waiting list.

"It's been amazing. The response has been totally awesome," said Ivan Gamboa, the gift shop manager at Meow Wolf.

With two factories in Albuquerque making the product and around 15 full-time employees, Toll said he wants to keep the product as locally made as possible. He calls it a way to transport a Meow Wolf experience to your home.

Toll plans on having more of the Experience Tubes at the Meow Wolf gift shop. For more about the invention, click here.
