Postal Service to release scratch-and-sniff stamps

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. – The U.S. Postal Service is rolling out a new product that they say will remind customers of the sweet smells of summer.


For the first time ever, USPS will be offering special scratch-and-sniff stamps. The Frozen Treats Forever stamps will be dedicated at the Thinkery children’s museum in Austin, Texas tomorrow evening.

They will feature ten different stamp designs, each with colorful ice pops on a stick.

“The Frozen Treats stamps offer the latest innovation in stamp design, which means you can add the sweet scent of summer to your cards and letters,” said U.S. Postal Service Vice President of Finance and Planning Luke Grossman, who will dedicate the stamps. “It’s a fun way to enjoy the stamps, but it’s even more fun to share the experience with your friends and family.”

Customers can pre-order the special stamps here. They will be delivered shortly after the release.
