Presbyterian offers drive-thru COVID-19 testing

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M.- Dozens of people lined up Sunday morning at Presbyterian's drive-thru testing site in Albuquerque.

Screenings are being offered every day from 9 a.m. - 6 p.m. at the PresNow location at 4515 Coors Blvd. NW as long as test kits are available.

Patients who were screened and met testing criteria were tested onsite. Presbyterian officials encourage only people who are experiencing symptoms to use the drive-thru screening.

Presbyterian said they had 519 total patient use the drive-thru and 300 patients were tested.

Other clinics such as Lovelace also hosted their own drive-thru screenings on Saturday. Lovelace said they will provide screenings every day from 7 a.m. - 7 p.m.

Optum New Mexico will also offer drive-thru testing through appointment only.
