Artesia claims state high school bowling championship

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M.- The high school state bowling championship began Friday.

Artesia and Del Norte competed for the 4A championship.

The Bulldogs came out on top for the third year in a row.

During the award ceremony, thousands of dollars in scholarships were handed out to young bowlers.

The state tournament continues Saturday with the 5A schools.
