ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. – The Cibola High Cougars are hitting the restart button after winning just two games last season.
That squad was filled with young talent; in 2018, it'll be a senior-heavy group stepping on the gridiron.
"For us, it was pretty glaring and it was the culture of the football team," Head coach Rod Williams said. "We had kind of let things slip and needed to improve our culture in general. What we're looking for beyond the Xs and Os and football stuff, we wanted character in our program for the players, for the coaches. It's been great—the players have bought in."
Cibola season's kicks off August 23 against Sandia.
