ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. – The Hope Huskies have been an impressive program over the past few years, and they'll be looking to continue playing at a high level when the 2018 campaign begins.

The Huskies were knocked off in the first round of the state playoffs last year, and it doesn't matter who you talk to about it—the team learned lessons and plan to implement them this season.

"This whole season we have been starting since we got out of school, so everybody knows everything," Hope senior Vince Quezada said. "Our starting D has been there since I was a sophomore, so we should be pretty good this year."

Hope's season begins Friday at 7 p.m. against Portales.
