Records broken at state track and field meet

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — Track and field teams from across the state competed against one another at the UNM Track and Field Complex.

New Mexico Military Institute's Mia Walker won with a photo finish, taking first with a time of 2:34:63. 

For the 3-A girl's pole vault, Sandia Prep's Sydney Pyles cleared 10 feet – setting a new state record. 

The girl's team winners were Logan, Cloudcroft and Sandia Prep.

The boy's team winners were Fort Sumner, Santa Rosa and St. Mike's.
